It’s Khristine here. I apologize for not posting as many blogs as I would like and as much as it would actually help you. You won’t hear any excuses from me about not posting blogs or working on myself from now on.
Anyway, I have been extremely busy working on a few things and I’m totally excited because I have been building my Reiki Wellness Business and my Life Coaching business. More news on that coming soon.
I wanted to talk about Skill Acquisition. I learned about the term from one of my favorite Personal Development Masters of of this era, Brendon Burchard. Brendon, is one of the most followed personal developed gurus on Facebook, Youtube and also is a NY times best selling author. I have still yet to read any of his books but to name a few on my list to read are, The Motivation Manifesto and The Millionaire Messenger.
So Brendon, spoke about skill acquisition on one of his videos on youtube. He mentions that skill acquisition is crucial to personal development. I noticed as I was also going through a burn out, as well as a stagnant non growth period. I stopped training. I kinda took a dive in my reading and got so busy in the hustle, got to busy networking and kinda lost my purpose and my momentum.
What I’m trying to say is that; Success is a lifestyle. We get to train our bodies, our mindsets and our wellness like athletes. Its the key to moving forward quickly by being laser focused on learning the most we can and by becoming the master of our craft.
I think the problem arises when we reach a certain amount of freedom and a little bit of momentum. The drive kinda dies down. But I invite you to stay on the ball.
So since I haven’t been reading as much as I usually do. I guess I needed to give my brain a break to digest all the juicy information I have stored in my sub-conscious mind. Gotta feed the crew a high quality diet. ( Besides, Knowledge is power) But now that I have digested all the information and have been able to put it into practice. I suppose its time to create a new habit of personal development or at least reactivate it all over again for a powerful and motivated life.
So what is the solution to achieve maximum personal development? Yep! You guessed it! Time to read as many books as you can. The amazing, late Zig Ziglar, mentioned that if a person reads one book a month for the rest of his life, it is equivalent to achieving 5 degrees in college in that lifetime. How incredible! What will the books you read give you a degree in? What subjects in life do you get to master in?
Tai Lopez, has created the largest book club in the world. Check him out. His story is also very inspiring.
Attached is a list of 100 books every entrepreneur should read. Click here. The list is provided by a powerful and inspirational man I look up to named, Brad Cameron (Build Your Empire) Instagram: @bradcameron_ Check him out.
